Away Day Rules & Etiquette

Only members (including honorary) are allowed to play on away days.

Away days are generally fully funded (although a decision on that will be taken nearer the time).

We have a tradition of playing for a prize fund totalling £200. Each player contributes £10 to the prize fund. This is entirely optional although, of course, you have to contribute to play for the prizes. The society will make the total up to £200 if there are less than 20 players contributing to the fund

Where an away day includes an evening meal, players are required to meet the dress code of the club. This often means "Jacket and Tie", although "smart casual" is becoming more common. The secretary will confirm this nearer the time
